Our downstairs licensed lounge at Harmony House offers a beautiful, cozy atmosphere with it’s warm wood and brick design.
Enjoy a delicious dinner by Chef Andrew Nicholson, drinks are also permitted to be taken upstairs to the music hall for your enjoyment. The capacity in the lounge is approximately 50 people seated so reservations are strongly recommended on event nights. Chef Andrew Nicholson
Chef Andrew Nicholson graduated from the Culinary Institute of Canada in 1993. In 1997 he represented Canada at the World Junior Chef’s challenge in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has been a National member of the Canadian Culinary Federation since 1998. In 2002 Chef Andrew was elected PEI Chef of the Year. From 2003 to 2005 Chef Andrew was employed at Government House as the personal chef for their Honor’s Lieutenant Governor Leonce Bernard and Madame Florence Bernard. Most recently 2023 & 2024 Chef Andrew has competed at the ‘PEI Chefs Gala’ event representing Harmony House. Presently, Andrew is a Chef Instructor at the Culinary Institute of Canada, and the Kitchen Manager at Harmony House Lounge, Hunter River, PEI.
Lounge Floor Manager – Norma Richard-Becker
Norma grew up in St. Louis PEI, “just turn left at Profits corn mile down the road”….and has been working in the hospitality industry here on the Island for over 30 years with hotels, private events, Government House, and The Culinary Institute of PEI (26 years and counting!). She is as pro as they get and Harmony House is so lucky to have her steering the ship in The Lounge for dinner service each evening. Norma cares very much about everyone who drops by and that their experience is a great one!
