Harmony House owners, Kris and Melanie Taylor were honoured to be given the Premier’s Award for Tourism Excellence at the recent TIAPEI awards banquet! Premier Dennis King presented the award to Kris and Melanie following an explanation of why he felt the venue deserved to win the award this year. The Taylors and 4 out of their 5 children (Michael, Joel, Jacquelyn and Jenna) were in attendance at the dinner and ceremony which was held at Red Shores.
While accepting the award, Melanie acknowledged that the recognition was certainly unexpected but very much appreciated! The Taylors share this recognition with their past and current staff, performers and their broad community of supporters who have been on this journey with them over the past 12 years. The presentation about the venue included comedian Patrick Ledwell and musician, Mark Haines who have been bringing the hit production, “The Island Summer Review” to Harmony House audiences for the past 7 summers.
